A small shop in Praslin island, the second largest island after Mahé; it 15 minutes by plane from Mahé, and 3 hours by boat. When you visit Praslin, it is as if you visit the Garden of Eden that is what the General Gordon thought when he visited the island for the first time. Praslin is not as busy as Mahé, more relaxing. The Vallée de Mai was declared in 1984 as the World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It is hidden a virgin forest and it is the only place where the coco de mer palms are found. Praslin is also the place where 3 of the rarest birds can be seen: the black parrot, the Seychelles bulbul and the fruit pigeon, there is about only 100 remaining from these species.
